Mallory is a passionate and experienced instructor dedicated to helping both horses and riders reach their full potential. Her approach centres around creating harmony, balance, and clear communication between horse and rider—building strong, confident partnerships from the ground up.

With a focus on developing correct muscle use, suppleness, and strength, Mallory helps horses achieve self-carriage and long-term soundness. She’s especially skilled in working with nervous riders or challenging horses, bringing a calm, patient, and understanding presence to every session.

Mallory thrives on seeing progress—whether that’s a rider rediscovering their joy in the saddle, a young horse learning to trust, or a team preparing for competition success. Her teaching style is clear, supportive, and always tailored to individual needs, ensuring both horse and rider understand the how and why behind each step.

Private lessons with Mallory are £35, held in our indoor or outdoor arenas.

Mallory – Senior Instructor & Competitive Dressage Rider

With over 15 years of professional experience in the equestrian industry, Mallory brings a deep level of knowledge, skill, and dedication to both her coaching and her riding.

She has worked alongside some of the sport’s most respected names, including grooming and riding for Olympic Eventing Gold Medallist Wendy Schaeffer and Olympic Grand Prix Dressage Rider Abi Lyle—gaining invaluable insight into elite-level performance and horse management.

Originally from an eventing background, Mallory now focuses on competitive dressage, where she continues to achieve notable success. She has competed multiple times at the British Dressage National and Winter Championships, and has secured wins at the Area Festival Championships.

Mallory is currently developing her dressage horse, Zapphire, with the pair competing successfully at National Championship level. In addition, she has achieved significant success competing horses for owners at this level, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to producing top-performing horses through thoughtful, consistent training.
